This is so clever. Or maybe it’s just the English major in me that gets it.
yes. it’s only you, the english major who gets it
not the 200,000 other people who’ve also seen it
Paranorman reveals first openly gay animated character
at first i thought mitch and kathy were going to hook up, like athletic boys and bratty teenage girls always do at the end of movies. but then he said this and the whole theatre screamed and EVERYTHING MADE SENSE AND IT WAS SO GREAT
What I like about this the best is that they LITERALLY WAITED UNTIL THE VERY LAST SECOND TO REVEAL IT. Basically forcing you to form your opinion of him based on his personality and characteristics, instead of his sexuality.
WHICH IS HOW IT’S SUPPOSED TO WORK.
Our 16 yr. old lesbian foster child was removed from our home due to our sexual orientation. We are fighting to get her back. Can you help? The homophobic birth mother of our 16 year old lesbian foster daughter went to the state of Kansas and fought to have her removed from our home solely due to our sexual orientation. Our foster daughter wants to be in our home and has flourished with us. We love her like she is one of our own and we want to fight to whatever lengths we can to get her back. This is about equality and it’s about doing what is in the best interest of this child. Due to confidentiality, I can’t include a picture of our foster child; the picture I am using is a picture of myself, my partner, and my daughter.PLEASE - if you can’t help, reblog. These ladies are awesome parents, and they deserve to continue to be the safe, nurturing home that this young lady has needed.

i will reblog this every time
I worked with a lady that came into work one day with no hair. No one mentioned it, no one talked about it. She was wearing a bandana so we all knew she was bald.
But I have ADD, and not so great control of my impulsiveness. Finally, near the end of the night I asked. “So… can I ask, what happened to your hairs?”
She smiled and hugged me. I was the only person with the cajones to ask. “My best friend is pregnant, already has a 4 yr old, and was diagnosed with cancer, and her boyfriend left her because it was too much. So I’ve been helping her out, being supportive. And I promised her if she started losing her hair I would shave my head too.”
“Last night she called me, crying because her hair was falling out in clumps. I told her I’d be there in 10 minutes. She shaved me first, then I her.”
It’s the most supportive thing she could think to do.
PLEASE COME OUT TOMORROW IF YOU CAN! We need people to testify in Austin against these bills. It could not be more important!
And even if you don’t live in Texas, signal boost in case your followers do!
When’s the last time you asked a politician for medical advice? Probably never—but that isn’t stopping the GYNOTICIANS.
That’s the name we’ve given to the politicians who think they know best when it comes to women’s health. They’re operating in Congress and statehouses across the country, pushing law after law to interfere in women’s personal medical decisions. Last night’s vote in the House was just the latest high-profile example.
It’s time they left women’s health up to the real experts: women and their doctors. Sign on to let them know their “gynotician” license has been revoked → http://bit.ly/gynotician
